Lawrence,
There is N O Chineseum, so your only options are N.O.S., of which you notice I have the best price in the Universe ---- and having them custom made / re - molded, which will run you triple to quadruple the price I quoted you......

Well --- you can always turn that block into a boat anchor......

EDIT 7APR2023-DOES NOT FIT THE 272, CHECK COMPRESSION HEIGHT

have a look at these at Summit Racing

Silv-O-Lite Cast Pistons

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/u...-std/make/ford

I did not look for oversized.

those 40-over pistons are 3.665 in. bore. I was thinking that if you need a bit larger maybe a standard 292 piston would fit. BUT NO. The 272 has a 1.857" compression height where the 292 is 1.760".

EDIT- WRONG, 1.857 height is for the 256 motor, see my next post below.

The 272 and 292 have the same stroke and rods.
How can the compression height be that much different ?

Great question. I am glad you asked because I learned something. I had just looked at the bore and assumed the 3.62 bore pistons were for a 272. BUT, you are correct the 272/292/312 all share the same compression height.

That 3.62 bore and 1.86 compression height belong to a 256 motor.

The summit pistons I inked above DO NOT FIT A 272

FYI another oddball compression height is a 292 HD Truck motor

All this info is thanks to Mummert at
