i emailed him and so far no reply, looking for a mechanal jack picture for a 1935 ford pickup i have around 150 old jacks and trying to ID them. been collecting early ford and automotive tools and jacks for most of the last 40 or so years, just trying to get an idea of what exactly i have

The 35 pick up jacks are the same as the passenger car jacks and are pictured on page 147 of The 35-36 Ford Book. I will attempt to show them below.

Bill, The jacks used a 3-piece folding crank as shown in the attached image.

You should probably concider getting a copy of the existing 1935 and '36 Ford Book now rather than waiting for the PU version. The chassis on the Pu's are basically identical to the passenger cars of those years. Plus the PU book may not cover the chassis completely and just reference the car book. Lawson and Jerry may correct me on that though.
