6 volt fuel pump
Can someone recommend a good 6 volt fuel pump that has flow through capabilities. I have one that someone installed on a 54 Mercury with a 256 engine. I think it is creating problems with the fuel flow. Car stalls at strange times

Re: 6 volt fuel pump
I currently have a Airtex, which is a flow through 6 volt, on my car and it works great, but they are not made any more. I recently found and bough this one.

Re: 6 volt fuel pump
While back, I went looking for an AIRTEX #E8902, 6-v, 2.5 to 4 psi electric pump. I spent an hour looking at multiple parts websites and every one had discontinued selling it (out of stock).
CG Ford Parts offers #11A-9350-E6 (2-1/2 to 4psi output) $84.95, but tubing size is unknown. Price is outrageous, so I didn't buy it. Not sure what brand it is. Many folks here at fordbarn, in both early and late V8 forums swear by the Airtex pump, and it was reasonably priced before it fell off the face of the earth. |

Re: 6 volt fuel pump
Thinking...would a 12 volt pump run with 6 volts and offer less pressure?
