Default taking the gas tank out.

Thinking I may have rust in my tank. How hard is it to take the gas tank out of a 28 rpu ?

Not too terrible, 10 clamps underneath that like to snap the bolts off and the row of bolts under the hood. Also a row hiding under the dash rail all along the tank. You will have to remove the instrument cluster and un fish all the wires. Its a job dont get me wrong but needs to be done to fix the rust problem and not just bandaid it.

Take it out fix it right then you dont have to mess with it in your lifetime.
