Ownership
On an original ownership from 1927 there is a box to pick either O or R. What would be the disclosure by picking either O or R?

Re: Ownership
I'm thinking
O = owns the vehicle outright R = registered "owner" who has custody of vehicle but making payments. I think the Model A was the first car that Henry put together some type payment scheme for. Update: Found this on the Ford Motor Credit site Ford's first foray into auto financing was its U.S. Weekly Purchase Plan in 1923. It established the Universal Credit Company in 1928 to help sell its new Model A, but sold the company in 1933. Ford had various financing arrangements around the world dating to the 1920s when it launched Ford Credit in 1959. Ford Credit would consolidate those operations and expand to new markets to ensure Ford's dealers and customers had sufficient affordable financing. Last edited by ModelA29; 06-12-2023 at 05:36 PM. |
