Model A Trunks
Good Morning Model A'ers.
I am looking for a good trunk for my 28 Tudor. I would prefer a metal/leather constructed trunk, but it appears that the 2 leads I had no longer make them. Are there other individuals/manufactures that are still producing trunks? Looking forward to any leads. Thank you. |

Re: Model A Trunks
Snyder's, and likely others, carry curved back and straight back trunks. They are likely of wood and vinyl construction.

Re: Model A Trunks
I got my rack and brackets from Snyders. Years ago I got my trunk from Varco. Very nice. I use it for my clothes when I travel. It's not full of junk.

Re: Model A Trunks
VARCO, Inc in Oklahoma was always the source of the highest quality of all steel trunks. I don't have current contact information but if you Google "Varco" or "Jack Nievar" it should show up. If he's still in production, you won't be dissatisfied.

Re: Model A Trunks
Mine seems to be wood. Felt lined, and outside is leather or vinyl. Very nice all these years later.

Unfortunately, Varco (Jack) is no longer making trunks.

Re: Model A Trunks
Years ago found the plans to build your own out of wood. You could cover in vinyl or Naugahyde to look like leather. If you want the plans email me at [email protected]
