have a 40 standard all body work done on a nice orig car,w/5.0 eng mustang fr. nd, 9'' rear ,all power disk brakes.new grill,etc.,etc.,etc. was asking $17k, no takers. after adding B.D.'s parts to complete a car, i am going to keep mine.

I think a 40 coupe can only go up in value.....drake did us a big favor for ford ,,,like dynacorn did for the 69 camaro!!

all i saw at hershey was the floor pan, did any of the bodies get put together ?

This is the only person priveleged enough to pat themselves on the back,while being allowed to promote a their own product on this forum.Why not have a separate forum for this stuff.It would also allow replys to barners,who can't get an answer on the phone.

Three very nice 40 Deluxe coupes on Early V8 site classified currently. Two are $20,000-$21,500. Must have been Drakes passion to repro but certainly not all that hard to find for the money.

I bought a set of rocker panels from drake fo a 38 convt [there the same as the 40] They were wonderful , made of heavy metal and were a perfect fit. I have seen some of the other panels and they appear ripple free and very good quality If it wern't for Bob and those panels there would be a lot more poorly repaired old Fords
