Default 3X Spark Plugs

I have ten of the repro Champion 3X plugs with the flat top on the number "3." These should have an upper and lower copper seal in the interior, which in this case are quite worn. Are these seals even available commercially, or do the seals provide little value in the firing of the plugs?

I saw this when I was searching for info on the 3X plus. A good write-up. Maybe a thin-enough sheet of copper can be located so that one can make their own seals.

If you still have the original copper sealing rings you could heat them up and quench them in water to anneal the copper then they're reusable as the copper will be soft and pliable again and seal like it originally did.

Is anyone selling parts to rebuild the Champion 3X plugs or the Champion 429's? I thought I saw some sites selling replacement parts, but now I cant find them.

Regards
Bill
