Default Rear corners fillers to support interior - missing

In both inside corners, there is a channel that goes around the corner. This channel, I believe, is what the interior is tacked into.

Much of mine is missing.

What was the original material?

What can I put into the channel that will accept the tacks and hold them tightly?

Thanks,

check with an upholstery shop, they should have access to tack strip material.

I see you have installed Rattle Trap Sound Deadener in rear of your car. Did you do the whole car including the doors and floor? If so how big of a roll did you buy and was it enough?

Those metal channels are missing from my Tudor. Brattons sells the strip that mount in the metal channel, but not the channel.
www.brattons.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=29301 I have considered fabricating them from wood.

I laminated 1/16" spruce strips purchased from a hobby shop in place - got glue all over myself and everything else and slide them in. You can go a little higher for more grip with a couple narrower strips.

I used the same cardboard as I used in the upholstery panels. I glued two layers together for the thickness of two panels, and then slid them into the metal channels

Glue in a leveling strip, attach a strip of self adhesive VELCRO & attach a strip to the upholstery panel & you're DONE!
