Default 1928-29 front bumber brackets

Can you tell me from the pictures if I have the right front bumber barckets for a 1928?

Yes, they are original '28-29 brackets but have been bent somewhat from collision damage.

So the outer ends should not curl back at all?

The bumper attaches at the clamp just at the point where it [ the bumper bar] starts to curve in. The brackets therefore appear to slightly curve back.
Your brackets appear original, bearing the C stamp; mine have a D.

I can't be sure but believe this example is bent but only slightly. It must be perfectly straight coming out from the frame. The outer end looks to me like it should be 1/4"-3/8" closer to the center of the car. I could be wrong but it at least gives you an idea.

My 1928 appears to be in good shape and has never been messed with. I measured 47 7/8" from the front outside edge of one bumper clamp to the other.

I also measured the brackets and a straight line from one end to the other end of the bracket is 18".
