Last time I looked, most of the resto parts suppliers had discontinued the '55 and later starter/neutral switches and offered 52/53/54 Ford starter neutral switches.
I have a new 52/53/54 switch here still in the package as an emergency spare to use on one of my '55's in case I need it. The only difference is two of the wiring terminals need to be modified on the car wiring harness with fork-tongue terminals to fit the 52/53/54 switch.

This is the Ford Part number for the NSS for a 1960 thru 1966 Ford Truck with auto trans.
It is the same as those for the cars, but will start in Neutral & Park.
Usually cheaper than those thru the vendors.
