Re: How Long Have You Owned Your Model A?
It is time for another; unlike wives you can have two! Two honeymoons is better then one.

Been down that ménage a trois road before and at the size of my wallet now, one will do.

Re: How Long Have You Owned Your Model A?
2004 in a barn in West Virginia. Sat in my garage for 6 years before I even tried starting it. It was found for me by my 88 yr old Uncle. He kept asking me how I was doing and it was always the same answer. Finally I took a couple of days and free'd up the engine, got it started, and it runs like a champ. I am so attached to that car it is going to Florida with me as soon as possible. Oh BTW it is a 1929 std roadster. I have nicknamed it "Survior"

The cabriolet, I've had since 1958 or 1959. My dad bought it in fall of 1929.

Re: How Long Have You Owned Your Model A?
Huckster 1951 (chassis was part of a 1929 CCPU in those days). Got pieces of the PU from a cousin which I further ruined in 1951-cut off top of cab, took off fenders, etc. Rebuilt into the huckster in 2009. 1929 STD Coupe purchased in 2010.

Re: How Long Have You Owned Your Model A?
BTW the reason it took so long to build the huckster from the pile of "junk" was that we had to raise 11 kids and run a business for 20 years.
