A little more progress
I was ready to take the clutch cross shaft (for the engine and transmission I am restoring) to the machine shop tomorrow and have it shortened. Some prior shade tree mechanic had installed a homemade one that was about 2" too long. For some reason he had drilled a hole in it and installed a cotter pin, all outside the case. Go figure. Anyhow, I decided to do it myself. I cut it off and dressed up the end like it should be. I got tired, so I'll install it tomorrow. I'll also start hanging a few parts that have been cleaned up and painted back on it tomorrow. I'm having a blast with this project.
