1938 Ford standard clutch assy.
guys, I was wondering if it's possible to change a clutch for a 60hp motor that comes with a 8.5 clutch to a 9 inch clutch and pressure plate assembly. this one is giving me fits as to what to do. Any suggestion would help or am I doomed to stay with the 8.5 clutch and pressure plate. thank you

I 'think' early Jeeps run an 8 1/2" Auburn pressure plate. Could you possibly adapt one of those in? i run Auburn clutches on my motors [not Jeep though], and love them!

Be advised that the 60 HP clutch and trans have a smaller diameter splined input shaft than the full size combo.
