Default 40 pick up fenders

For all the 40 guys out there....Will 40 passenger front fenders fit a 40-41 pick up ? What modifications will be necessary to make them work?

Yes and No, technically they are different fenders the PU is actually narrower. The area where the fender bolts to the cowl is different on a pick up than a passenger car so they have different flange mountings. Can yo put a passenger car fender on a PU well yes but requires big hammer.

More like a pair of flanging pliers will make them fit and not a big hammer. Were the fender meets the side of the cowl needs folded over alittle more. Not much

You also need to fit them a little were it bolts to the running board and drill a couple holes. You need the small fender to cowl bracet that you can get new.

For a restoration you will get a hard time. For a hotrod make them work. I have on a few I have built
