Gauge options?
My 51 F1 is 12 volt and I want to connect the 6 volt gauges. I saw a F1 with a aftermarket 12 volt gauges and wonder is it more cost effective to convert the 6 volt to 12 or replace the gauges with new 12 volt

Re: Gauge options?
There are numerous sources for 12 to 6 volt reducers. Ford used 6 volt gauges in to the '80s with a reducer. Search the NAPA site for the PN. You can build an electronic one for about $15.00. Search this forum or the HAMB for the circuit.

Re: Gauge options?
This is what I used and it works great, I have all three of my electric gauges powered by just one of these. Total cost was UNDER $5.
