No re-pops available, and nos very hard to find. Check classifieds for good used. I wouldn't buy any that haven't been measured.

The part number 78-1105-D was used from 37 through 39. If you can find a rodder that is changing from wide 5 to standard 5 on 5.5 then you might get a drum or two. As was already mentioned, get them measured for diameter within specs or let them be.

Hit the swap meets,I don't know were you are at ,but I always see them at swap meets, usually one at a time or you may have to buy a whole rear end.Like rotorwrench said, there is always a streetrod being built and they always
go to different brakes. It seems to me the rears are harder to find.

I thought they were being re-poped-I seem to remember a lot of discussion regarding Argintina vs North American quality, plus how to install them on the hubs.

I patrol the swapmeets with a Ammco drum caliper. Interesting the bull that is slung by sellers about drums. Had one guy quote $40 on his pile of Ford drums. I broke out the calipers and found that only two of ten were even close to useable. The seller said that would be $80 each. I reasoned that complete trash was $40 while if they were any good at all, that's $80. The better drums weren't so very good and I stealthily shuffled them back among the junky ones. Sorry for the poor guys without the calipers.
Although it has taken years and many miles of swapmeet walking, now have near standard or standard drums, including wide fives for my cars and spares.

Good Luck: Fred A
