Default Sherwin Williams Paint

I am sure that some members of the Ford Barn have used sherwin Williams Paint on their Model A. I am interested in the comments of users regarding its value and quality. I am intrerested in a single stage paint. It doesn't need to be an original model A color. All comments and opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance

I like sherwin Williams 2nd Dimension enamel w / hardner . It goes on great. Color sands well, looks more authentic. I've even done mid panel spot touch up's with good results it will buff well now. ... And ten years from now

Harder to find sherwin auto paint dealers but they are out there
Sorry ... I am not a bass/clear fan for restoration

Sherwin is all that i spray. And i spray almost daily. Lays out great, and wonderful finished product. I would recommend either dimension or ultra for single stage. Dimension is the midgrade stuff, and ultra is the high end. Ive had amazing results with both. Base clear if reccomend the same for base coat, and either 5020 clear or 950. 5020 is mid grade and 950 is high end, both lay out the exaxt same. All their materials are real easy to work with, and are user friendly. You wont be dissapointed.

I have it on a 6 year old paint job and it still looks like new. I polished it for the first time last year ! Wayne

A lot of people have used Sherwin Williams without knowing it.Other names are hung on their products, with Napa being the only one I know of for sure.

I have Sherwin Williams base/clear on the '31 Victoria in my avatar. It's going on about 14 years now. No problems. Sherwin Williams is the only paint I use on the exterior and interior of my house too. They make really good paints.
