Beware Con Artist
I am writing this to warn people of a person who is advertising parts for sale on this web site who is not legit. I sent this person cash via Western Union and received nothing. His name is Frances Flores from Ontario Calif. Please do not become another of his victims!!

Re: Beware Con Artist
When someone asks you to send money via western union that should automatically send up a red flag. Paypal while not fool proof allows you to file a claim. If you have a phone # or address file a police report in the city where he lives. Sorry you got taken. People today have no conscious.
Is he a Ford Barn member? Report him to the moderators. Not much they can do but at least try to get him banned. |

Re: Beware Con Artist
What is his FB name? Yeah in today's world, we're constantly advised not to wire funds or use any other method of payment that doesn't have way to file a claim in of non-receipt of product or goods. If a seller doesn't have a PP or other legit and secure (to both buyer & seller) method of receiving funds, I'd question their honesty as well. As rusty59 said, report him to the mods. Good luck on trying to recover your $$$ or the merchandise.

Re: Beware Con Artist
I'm surprised anyone still agrees to wire cash via Western Union - its been the main scam payment service for about 10years now....
Even a quick search on here would have shown up Frances Flores as a scam from only a few days ago. |

I think I read about this scammer not too long ago on the HAMB.

Re: Beware Con Artist
Never western Union! I have used PayPal to sell a 24,000 car. Of course I did not release title until my account was credited and then I withdrew funds prior to transferring ownership. Good for posting this douchebags name. You should always aske for a picture of their hand in front of or to the side of the part, that way you know they actually have the part and have just not downloaded the photo from the web. Here was a beautiful car advertised here on craigslist...problem was the same exact car and photos were on the LA Craigslist also, it was a scam, they were using the photos from the real sellers site. Buyer beware.

Send me a pm with all of the details. I'll get both sides and see what I can do.
