Walt It did not work.
This is how I did it .
Click on user cp under the ford barn logo.
A list will come up .
click on edit avatar.
then on the next page there is a blue dot next to Do not use avatar.
That is self explanatory
Clink on use custom avatar,it will become the blue dot.
then hit were it says Browse.
it should send you in to your computer where ever your pic's are saved.
Click on whatever pic you want and that info will go on the line in front of the Browse.
Then at the bottom hit save and it is done.
the cool part is it puts it on all of your posts that you have done with out any avatar pic's.

no, I think the instructions says it has to be no larger than about 19 kb, or 160x160 pixels

OK, I'll take your word for it. I didn't try it, I just reduced the size like the instructions said.

When I did mine it was already reduced to 600x400, which should have been to large, but it worked anyway!!
