Headliners
I have a New headliner on order , is it a very difficult job to do it yourself ? Do I just follow the directions is there some tricks to having a nice job , Thanks Barners . D.

I did one myself on a Lincoln Zephyr and followed the very detailed instructions. I think patience is needed as it took me the good part of the day to get it installed but it turned out looking very good. A stapler will really make the job easier and quicker. If you follow the directions ( no short cuts ) you should be OK. There are very good instructions for installing the headliner at the fryer's interiors site.

Hi Dee , thanks for the reply, yes I think a stapler would be better than the tacks, I may use some tacks here and there, , thanks again for the info ... Dale

I just finished installing one in my '39 coupe. As Dee said PATIENCE.
for me it took Wed. night, Thurs. night, Fri. night, Sat. morning. |
