A nod to Annette Funicello; I hated all of the Beach movies she did with Frankie Avalon. Walt Disney once charged Annette $55 for a pair of lost Mickey mouse ears in 1956. What a tight wad.

Humphrey Bogart is a stupid criminal in King of the Underworld (1939). Not his best movie. Lots of Warner Brother Buicks in this one.

Jimmy Stewart and Carole Lombard are Made For Each Other (1939). Not enough Fords for me but I'll take the one they have. For some reason you don't see many 38 Standard Coupes in the movies.

Back to V-8 Fords on Film, which is already in progress.

Isabelle Jewell, virtually unknown today, is smokin hot in Born to Kill (1947). This is her last ride in a 1939 Ford DeLuxe Convertible.

Notice that the car has no runningboards and stainless (chrome) gravel shields on the front and rear fender...

Kay Kiser drives a 1939 Convertible in That's Right, You're Wrong (1939). Some good shots up close. I stupidly erased the movie before snapping a couple shots.
