Re: Question please
Don't know, but doubt it. Ford would have had to interrupt his assembly line to do it.

Re: Question please
I would guess you may find a "Model A" with a 1932 title in some states if it was a late production A sold at the end of the year. Some states assigned the title date to the issue time if I remember correctly. I could be wrong.

Re: Question please
You are correct. 1932 was first year of the model B. However they built A's at the beginning of 1932.

Re: Question please
I read in an old Restorer recently that it was April of 32 before assembly plants ran out of 31 models. I don't know if that's true but if it was written in the Restorer it must be!!

Re: Question please
The Model A was built into almost April 1932, that is why the 32's are quite rare as they were only built for about 8 Months before the 33 came out.
I know of 5 A's that were built in Feb. and March of 1932, and the engine and frame numbers match. Ron |

Re: Question please
Here you go...1932 production according to the 1932 Assembly Record Types by the Ford Motor Company:
January St. Louis...1 Phaeton; 30 Town Sedans; Edgewater...4 Deluxe Roadster; 1 Standard Sedan; 1 Town Sedan; 1 Convertable Sedan; 20 Station Wagons; Charlotte...4 Station Wagons; Chester...1 Station Wagon; Denver...3 Station Wagons; Jacksonville...3 Station Wagons; February Edgewater...1 Deluxe Phaeton; 1 Deluxe Coupe; 1 Victoria; 1 Tudor Sedan; 1 Standard Sedan; Atlanta...5 Station Wagons; Charlotte...3 Station Wagons; Jacksonville...1 Station Wagon; Memphis...2 Station Wagons; Milwaukee...2 Station Wagons; March Memphis...5 Station Wagons; April Edgewater...2 Deluxe Roadster. This was it for the "domestic" production (USA) in 1932 for Model A Fords. Now this does not include the "foreign" production and the "Canadian" production and it does not include the domestic Commercial "A" production which had many more body styles and numbers for each. April was the last month for Canadian "A" production. Foreign production moved right along through 1932 but slowed way down about July-August 1932. All of this will come out in Model A News soon. NOW for the "AA" production...Now that is another story on its own! I have got more done on this than I thought...Guess I will have to finish it and get it on my website.
