Default ammeter glass replacement

I am restoring a few original ammeters picked up cheap at swap meets because the glass lens was cracked or broken. Does anybody know where I can purchase replacement glass lenses for ammeters? Thanks!

I'd check with Bert's in Colorado or Arizona Model A.

For 6 bucks would the glass of the reproductions work?

Got any old flashlights or clocks with the same size glass?
Check the second hand stores for some.
Hardware stores used to carry flashlight and gauges glass.

Buy more parts originals. I think the glass is thicker than the repros

Find a glass shop, or someone that does stained glass, they can cut you new replacements.

Hobby Lobby sells packages of round and square glass in various sizes.
If you find a glass that is just a little too big and will not go in, get a knife sharping stone and put some oil on it and rub the glass on the stone until it fits.
