Default Model a colors

I am in the process of getting the right color for my April 30 Tudor i am leaning toward chicle drap ,cobra drab . I need to find the right color match. Currently I own a coupe this color but I have seen very many different shades that iam confused.
Is there a library that has these colors sprayed out.
Thank you
Earl

Find a guy local with one of the earlier books. They have actual paint chips you can get scanned at the paint store. The latest edition of the book just has the colors printed on the page - not sure if they will scan well.

Earlier books chips are too small to scan….so my supplier says.
Need a chip 3”x3”…..again so I’m told
Most chicle/copra is too green.
Do a search for that combo as it’s been here before

what old blue says is true. the thread on the topic was pretty interesting.
When I was a young boy my father had a chickle copra coupe. it was of the green variety and I liked it quite a lot. So when I found that the colors were wrong, I still prefer the green variety over what I now know to be correct, due to this forum.

Interesting how we can be misled over time. How original are our cars really?

Chicle Drab over Straw with black fenders is a striking color combo.

In our model A group, The A Team, we have 5 cars painted Chicle/Copra and none of them are the same. Most of us old guys are color blind anyway. Color, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

If you like the chicle/copra on your current car, you can use it to take to the store to have matched. If you have to take your "chip" inside you can use the hood for at least one of them.

Ha! You don't know how many times I've been "informed" by experts (who don't usually know the difference between a model A or T) that the ONLY color they came in was black! It isn't worth the time usually to explain, as typically it won't be accepted anyway, I just smile and ignore it.

I have the newer paint chip book and my painter was able to match my colors perfectly by scanning the color chips.

We have to be real grateful Henry didn't ever* offer the Model As in white.... [LOL]
Because there are actually over 150,000 different shades of white (150,000, not a misprint).
[*Yes, I'm not counting the ambulances].
Anybody know when Ford did start offering white? My dad had a white 1960 Station wagon, a nice big V8 with overdrive, first car I ever got pulled over in...
Whatever you choose, it's gonna look great!!
