Re: Bob Drake locking gas cap
Gas is $2 a gallon.
Unless you park the car on the street full time, what is the need for the locking gas cap? |

Re: Bob Drake locking gas cap
Gas prices for Supreme are $3 in Oregon. But I'm not worried about theft of gas. I'm concerned that some anarchist or hooligan wants to dump sugar or other junk in my gas tank. I'm building a driver and want to really use it, so it might be parked in public places. It all comes down to what contingencies to plan for.

Re: Bob Drake locking gas cap
Make sure you lock your car door too. A gentleman parked his car and when he came out of the store he found people sitting in his car fooling around with the interior. They must have be real life gremlins. sheesh... everyone today thinks they have a right to do whatever they feel like.

Now I have a Bob Drake locking gas cap. It seems secure and I don't think it is going anyplace without my permission. |
