Bratton's sells both the LED inserts that are mounted on a circuit board and the LED's that are imbedded in the plastic lens. The imbedded style are brighter and you don't have to worry about water destroying the printed circuit board because everything as covered with plastic. Both styles are PNP.

True. A good design. But they only work in the teacup style tail light housing. For the drum style tail light, you have to go with the ones mounted on a circuit board.
