1934 1 1/2 ton cab same as 1/2 ton
I am looking at a 1934 (I think it's about 1 1/2 ton truck as it has tandem wheels in back) Would the cab on the larger trucks be the same as the 1/2 ton? I have a 1934 1/2 chassis with no cab. Will the larger truck cabs fit my chassis. I'm not looking for a correct restroration, Just an old ratrod. Thanks, Jim

Big trucks have the gas tank under the seat, other wise the same. Too bad more of these big trucks can't be saved.....

Tandem axle. Now that sounds cool. RMR&C has it right about the cabs.

Re: 1934 1 1/2 ton cab same as 1/2 ton
My next Ford project is a 1 1/2 ton. The chassis I have done and rebuilt the engine and transmission but the cab needs a lot of help with patch panels all around, maybe this summer I'll at least get it running

Re: 1934 1 1/2 ton cab same as 1/2 ton
As said, big and small truck cabs are the same so are the front fenders.34 and 33 cabs are almost the same, only belt line on the rear of the cab and the wood in the cab back of the seat differ.32 big and small trucks cabs are the same. 32 and 33 cabs look the same, but the fire wall, dash and cab front mounting bolt locations are different.Maybe more info than you wanted to know. Good luck, PS this was a 33 small truck cab in it's first life, now it's on a 32 bb ton and half frame with a 12" streach and quarter windows.
