Default Gas Tank

What is the difference in 28 -29 tanks from the 30 - 31 tanks?

28-9 is a 10 gallon tank with a threaded gas cap. 30-1 is an 11 gallon tank with a twist cap. Mid 30 to end also has a different indent for the new instrument panel. There are other small changes, such as different choke bracket location and steering support, as well as the late 31 indented firewall with the shutoff under the hood.

Tank to cowl seam line and clamps are also different, so they will not interchange. Rod

Early 30 A & AA trucks used the 29 tank with the 30-31 twist-lock cap.
