I don't want to hijack this thread,but since there is so much knowledge here I also have a question. What would have to be done to put the 16" wires on an early 28? I already have a set of 1935 16s and was thinking of putting them on my 28 to see if I liked it better.

Since you asked, here are a few of the photos you requested. I had a 30 tudor when in high school. It came with 16 inch wheels and I always liked them, so I put them on my rdstr when I finished restoring it.

I posted some photos, but don't know where they went. I have Coker wide white wall 600 X 16's on the wheels.
