Default Drive you V8 Day, how many would be intereted

SO, June 20th is "Drive your V8 day!" and I was think of a scavenger hunt type challenge that would have you take pictures of your V8 as you take it out for a "nice" stretch your legs kind of drive. for example.....

A street with a character from the Andy Griffith show in it....ie Fife Ln (Barney Fife), Earnest St (Earnest T Bass) etc etc

A static military display...ie a cannon at a VFW post or a plane on a pedestal.

A picture at a major water way (river, ocean or lake) not a retention pond or a farm pond

A picture of a farm animal at a fence

and try to get as many of them "on a list" as you can in ONE drive!!!!

ANY Interest?????

I am working on a longer list now!!!

Need a mask to drive some places??
Here in taxafornia we don’t need a mask to ride or drive in a car unless there are people in the car that are not from the same household.

Here are my brother and I on a cruise on National Drive your V8 Day, beside our respective V8 vehicles. The truck is a 1976 F250 that was purchased new by my Dad. We are on the shore of Lake Erie, with Canada in the background.

I had a drive in my '38 today. I had forgotten that today was the day until I saw it here to to remind me, so no pic. Nothing scenic around here, anyway.

92 degrees here this afternoon.

Our EFV8 Regional Group #38 went on a very abbreviated tour on account of the weather being threatening.

Getting a little late in the day but the sun isn't down yet. I might make it. I did have mine out on the road a couple of days ago when the scenery was much nicer than today.

I drove out to the highway and it was closed do to an accident. So the drive was limited to 4 miles. It was fun while it lasted though!

Ohio Region 141 celebrated our 25th Anniversary by having a carry-in picnic at a member's house in Troy, OH. I believe we had 12 or so V8s there and about 45 members. Some wore masks and some didn't. A good time was had by all! It was about 90 degrees, but nice in the shade!

Stay safe!

I got the ole' Merc out here in North Florida on a "HOT" Saturday morning I got a little later start to the day than I wanted BUT was able to give her a good run. I tootled about town for more than two hours of running errands and poking about town. Got home about 3:30 after a little visit to my best bud's house for a little cool down (for me, not the Merc). The Merc ran flawlessly, in 92 degree heat and humidity it never even ran close to hot!! I can't thank HOOP & CharlieNY enough for their brilliant work, am so happy driving my EFV8. I even picked up three blond "Chick's"!!!! Sorry, I should have taken more, I do have video I'm trying to upload of us blasting down US 90 & Historic US 1!!!

A BIG thanks to those of you that posted on this subject...GOOD to see all the shared photo's and getting into the spirit of "Driving your V8!" I "TRY" and drive the Mercury at least once a week, weather permitting!! keep it up
