Source for '35 diagrams and illustrations?
I am restoring a 1935 Ford pickup.
Just bought the "green Bible" book of Ford chassis parts for 1928 through 1948 because I need more of those exploded diagrams and illustrations. They could tell me where all the parts go that I took off six months ago. The "Bible" didn't have as many diagrams of the '35 as I hoped. Is there some other source for more diagrams, etc. on my pickup? |

Re: Source for '35 diagrams and illustrations?
Given that the date of original publication of your book, 1948, it is not an especially helpful publication for your pickup manufactured thirteen years earlier. There's the V8 Club's book devoted to '35s and '36s, which while not covering pickups per se, it does cover the chassis and powertrain which are the same for passenger cars and commercial vehicles such as your pickup. It is available on the Club's website and Amazon.
You should also consider seeking the 1935 version of the chassis parts catalogue. While never reproduced, originals show up from time to time on ebay, in the swap meet section herein, the classified ads on the Club website, and on Amazon. You could also post a wanted ad on this site and on the Club website. |

Bob, I am also working on a 35 Pick up. Where are you located ? There may be a club or a member that may be able to answer some of your questions. jmho kerk

You will probably have better luck finding the 1928-1937 Parts List and I think
it will be easier to find than the 1935 Parts List as it is reproduced. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Motor-...oAAOSwaSVcAbQf Bob |

Re: Source for '35 diagrams and illustrations?
I have the service bulletin for your '35. It is subject 15999, published April 15, 1938. I salvaged complete bulletins for 1935 through 1947 just as they were being discarded at the Ford dealership where I worked. Little did I know that they would be valuable when I was in my 80's! Leave message with an address in the message place in this site.

When you get down to the last few parts post pictures of them and ask.

Digital pictures are a great tool. You can take practically endless pictures and capture every detail; but once taken they should be backed up. It is frustrating to misplace a memory card, thumb drive, or have your phone crash.
