Default Mitchell synchro transmission and gearset

I have a touring motor with Snyder 6.0 head, webber carby kit and tubular headers installed. I will be installing a Mitchell synchro transmission soon, with the 1st and 2nd gears which are geared 15% higher than standard. I am looking to increase my top end speed by changing the gears in the rear end.

My question is, given the higher gearing of the synchro transmission (in 1st and 2nd) which gears would you recommend in the rear end, 3.54 :1 or 3.27 :1 ?? There are no hills or mountains anywhere near where I live.

Any info appreciated. Thanks

The 3:54 set is really a nice package. We are running that ratio in the roadster pickup.

My goal is to increase the top speed without losing too much low speed drivability, and without getting a two speed/over-drive (for now)

I'd install a 3.27 ring and pinion.

With no hills and the new first and second gear ratios I'd go with a 3.27 rear which would be about the same as a Mitchell OD in high range ahead of a 3.78. Really nice easy cruising at 55 mph on the highway.
