Default Model A starter same as model B ?

I have a bad model B starter with a bad sector,but have several A starters,,is the armature the same ??sc

yes, just the starter switch and mounting holes are different

Mounting holes for the switch only, mounts to the bell housing the same. 1933-34 starters had a remote switch and some look different but all will bolt in.
