Default Fans whats correct?

I have looked over many manuals trying to work out what's correct. What radiator fans are correct for early 1928?

2 or 4

I have been told the steel 4 blade rust out then throw a blade I have an alloy 2 blade with a crack in it. Hmmm what to buy to stay close to original.

Original fans are all 2 blade steel, two types one 28 to 31 one late 31. Most will tell you to but a new aluminum 2 blade. I have been running my original 2 blade for 30 years, check it all the time, no cracks yet.

if the two blade fan has no cracks and rust is not getting between the two peices of metal in the fan you are probably fine, if the blades start getting fat, there is rust building inside them
