Default Just ran across

I just ran across one of my old stock cars back in 65. This was the best I could with 3 small kid and very little money.

Back in the mid 50's a trailer was a luxury, the cars were towed to and from track. (That is the one's that were still in one piece, otherwise they were left there to be fixed and towed at a later date)

Well Bill, knowing what I know now I'd probably build a safer car and have better tires. I always had more engine that I could keep on the track but couldn't afore the tires. Walt

Walt,
You are a die hard Ford man. Even your trailer is Ford!

Looks good to me, 3/4 hub on front and looks like the same on back and a good cross brace on the roll bars.

1965? This was ours. If they come for you, Walt, they'll have to take me, too. I still have the engine from this one: 3 3/4 x 3 3/8. The gal in the picture still has me - 50 years this September.

They've just built a new dirt track not far from me, The club ( Fantasy Racing) don't let anyone in unless the car is 48 or older, There digging up all the old stock cars in the wood and building new ones that look like one in the 50-60. It's just like stepping back 59-60 years. I love it. Walt

I expect this Thread is going to "BLOSSOM".

I've got to mention also that i consider myself a Lucky person, "WHY".

Because i've got acquainted with "Walt" last Wednesday. I dont have to elaborate more, people that know Walt "know".

By the way Walt, i did'nt tell you that my Avetar (or is it call name) is Hope.
