Dome light in a 1930 CCPU?
Any one ever do this? Seems like I would need the wood board attached to the top ribs similar to a Coupe..
Yeah.. Pea Cup's gonna have a cloth headliner too. Kinda like my old 1930 Deluxe Coupe.. Larry Jenkins |

I was thinking about doing that to my '31 Steel Top PU.

Re: Dome light in a 1930 CCPU?
I too am thinking of a dome light for my late 31 steel top CCPU.
Would like to know how and where to mount the lite and switch. Thanks and regards . Grant |

Re: Dome light in a 1930 CCPU?
The one on my old Coupe was built into the light. I've seen some that have a small switch on the drivers side window pillar.
If I remember correctly, the switch on my Coupe light was a "toggle" switch. Let's look at the catalogs and report back. Larry Jenkins |

The switch for the dome light in my '30 coupe is on the light frame itself.

Can you post an image of it, or where did you get yours? Larry Jenkins |

Re: Dome light in a 1930 CCPU?
Mac's has a nice looking one that has a built-in toggle switch.
Their Part Number A-13771S. $51.53. Using the mounting board concept, you can make a mounting board by measuring the space in the roof bows. Larry Jenkins |
