Default 36 Grill question

Hello , I have a few grill questions . I have read the 36 book and I know there are 3 grills according to the book .I have 2 grills , one is a single piece stamping and the other is the style with an outer shell and the individual bars welded in.The one piece came off a car that was restored about 15 years ago and I have found quite a few early repo parts on the car so I was comparing the two grills. At the bottom of the grills where the three pieces of trim start there is a difference . On the NON one piece grill the trim starts in pockets at the bottom of the grill. The one piece does not . Please look at the pics to see the difference and if anyone has a one piece grill out there can you please look at it and maybe even post a pic of ? Just trying to learn all the differences for the fun of it I want to make sure I am not comparing repo to original .Thanks for any help , Mike
First pic is the one piece
Second 2 are the outer shell/welded bars

I have a one piece original grille and the side trim does not have the slots just as you show in the first picture. I also have a mutiple bar welded grille with slots and one without slots.

Thanks Gary . It's amazing to me how many little differences there are in a one year span of production . I think it's fun to find the differences and learn about them. Gotta love it
