Hello , I have a 36 3w that needs all the wiring including the resister plate/fuse block if it has one . There is nothing in the car at all . Anyone have a source for complete original wiring harnesses ??? I am not interested in making my own or aftermarket looms at this point. I want it to be original or as original as possible .

I don't know if your car has two tail lights or if your going to add one but you may think about signals if your going to drive it? I had a custom one made and am happy with it! Looks Original but has the accesory wires in the loom. Macs has some good pieces as well.

I would go with Tyree Harris. I have three cars with his wiring looms. Most suppliers, Mac.s C&G, Dennis Carpenter, etc, have the resistor plate/ fuse block.

I have a spare dash loom that has the resistor/fuse block attached.It is a 10 yr old repo,not from the 30's.Have the same one in my 5W and no problems.$50 shipped.

It is not a mystery why one would want good original wiring. The aftermarket wires are pretty bad with colors that fade in a minute and loom that turns red in a little longer. Did a rewire on my '47 a year ago and the color code is largely useless. However... Wires from 1936 would likely be stiff and crispy. That would not be safe to use. Much of the loom represented as NOS is from years ago, but not really genuine Ford, and still fragile. Spend your money and Good Luck: Fred A

They make them as they were made.

I ordered wire from Rhode Island using a seldom used card and bogus charges appeared on my statement. Took a month for my wife and me to decide that we weren't ordering the starage services. Cancellation of the card stopped the activity but not totally convenient for me. A call to Rhode Island yielded a talk with a woman who knew many reasons why it could not be from their system but I am not convinced as the explanation was didn't sound like my experience of who and when. I tried to offer clues as to who would have ordered music online and odd subscriptions the emphasis remained on why it couldn't be their fault. Hope she was right. Good Luck: Fred A
