What is a 32 ford air cleaner. In 32-33 ford used a detroit lubricator carb Not a holley??????? ken ct. [ford holley air cleaner] sorry for mistype

Both the B-9600 and 18-9600-B1 air cleaners (or silencers as Ford called them at the time) were designed and manufactured by Holley. The alternate '32 V-8 production air cleaner/silencer, 18-9600-B2, was designed and manufactured by Burgess Battery. Both the Holley and Burgess design air cleaners continued to be used throughout the '33 model year as well.
