Default lincoln transmission

i have a lincoln transmission what should the teeth count be if it,s a zephyr cluster gear input shaft second gear.

Depends on the year, the early ones had the same gears as a ford

The tooth count on the input will be either 18T or 19T if it's a LZ transmission.

The ones folks always used to look for were the 18/26 or 19/25 tooth set. The first number is the input tooth count and the second number is the tooth count of front gear set of teeth on the countershaft cluster gear. Mac VP has the good info. http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/f...gearratios.htm
