Default Frame spreader/F150 trans

Will the frame spreader as in the attached photo work with F150 tranny and orig. eng. mounts? Concerned about clearance issues before taking everything apart for access.

It's really tight. What I have done is to place a 2x4 inside each frame rail in order to get a tad more clearance. I haven't used the exact frame spreader you show, but I have used this one: http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/frame-spreader , and it worked ok as I have described above. YMMV
