I note that the seller DOES have a 100% positive feedback, on over 10,000 transactions so he must be doing something right Maybe this item is just a fluke ------

This is comical, A thread on the Ford Barn critical of the accuracy of an EBAY listing? And yet if someone takes issue with spelling, grammer or semantics in a barn message the illiteracy defenders fall out of the sky like autumn leaves in New England. Sounds hypercritical to me. Just sayin, Let it die.

Yes, but nobody is selling spelling lessons here. If they were, then you might have a point.

There was a thread on the HAMB about a Mercury. The guy said it was uniquely a '48 with a '49 body style.

The arguments ensued and all the opinions came out. The pics clearly showed a '50 Merc, but the OP insisted it was a '48 because somebody told him it was.

Sometimes people will hang their hat on what they've been told and dig their heels in when someone else tells them different. Go figure.

Now, Mike, you know better than that! Ya gotta show the picture so we can all decide who's right and who's stupid!
