Default Decode Serial Number

Could you Ford Barn experts decode 1946 Ford Super Deluxe
Serial Number 991262937. Will this tell you where this was built, or any other information.

The only info from this serial number is the sequential production number.

Hi HELENT, I agree with TJ.

According to the Wikipedia VIN numbers were first used in '54. The one on your car is not really the same as on modern cars, which do tell you some info about the vehicle, such as the plant of manufacture. Yours is more a serial number than a VIN.

This is the only serial number that is on the car and chasis and also transmission. This is the same serial number on the title.
