Wheel size ?
I got a great deal on a set of A model axles. Front completely redone, powder coated , new rubber and tubes. Rear, wheels redone, axle complete. I got these to do a swap out while I rebuild my original. Was not til I got them home before I noticed these are 17 inch rims and tires. When did they use 17's ? All other measurements match to do swap out.

Re: Wheel size ?
But for the distance and the cost of freight, I'd jump on those wheels. Do you have a means of getting them to LA? Maybe we can do a deal. PM me if you're interested.

Re: Wheel size ?
I have a 34 with 17 inch wheels. Not easy to find and usually bring a good price. Don't sell cheap as the market is high for them! Wayne

Re: Wheel size ?
I just purchased a Model A rolling chassis and had 17" wheels in the back. They fit the Model A axle without any modifications.

Re: Wheel size ?
My 30 A coupe has 17" on it. I like them. They were on the car when I bought it way back in the late 1950's

Re: Wheel size ?
Thanks for the compliments guys. Currently I've got the stock 19's on it with the spare rim on the back. I go back and forth when I get bored of one look I change it up. The one thing about 17's though is tires are really expensive. The trim rings are also big money. I think the trim rings alone are over $100 each!!

Re: Wheel size ?
After much deliberation, I opted to go with the original 19" wheels with 5.50R19 tires all around.
