Default Oil leak

Oil pan is leaking excessively from cotter pin and a seam along the housing. I've attached a few pictures to review. Any suggestions short of having to pull the engine/trans?

Sorry to say, it looks like the engine will have to come out. This looks like engine oil.

I was able to take the bolts out of the front & rear mounts, jack up the motor with a board under the front pulley and get my pan off, I think I had to drop the tie rod also, that was on a '50 sedan, not sure about your truck.

Couple of things to consider, IF it's a block with the open style rear seal,

1) Any chance the engine is being overfilled with oil? If it is, it will run out the back seal!

2) Any reason that pressure would be building up inside the engine and forcing the oil past the rear seal area?

The photos look like the oil is leaking at a fairly fast rate, so I would suspect something like the above going on.

Concur with comments of JSeery.
Point worth considering is to look at what has recently been done or played with on this engine, whether its a recent oil change etc etc as this can be a clue as to new problems such as your oil leakage.
Hope is just a simple cure like oil overfill.
all the best

There is a die cast insert that fits into the rear main bearing cap and block. Could possibly have disintegrated. I have encountered the very same problem.
