I have the door and hinge but that is it. How do these stay shut? i also have the wrong knob, are they available from a vendor? Any pics would help greatly.

There is a catch on the upper part of the glove box opening that holds the door shut. I don't know of anyone repoping the glove box lid knob, but I see lots of lids for sale on ebay/fleamarkets.

Thanks for the info. Is the clip part of the dash? Replaceable? Also there is an issue with my hinge I think. Do they make replacement pins/spring, sorry I don't know what it is actually called, that attach the door to the hinge? Also, would a 34 door knob come close? Sorry for all the questions.

Here's a photo of the glove box and door. There are 2 pins that slide into the hinge halves. These pins are easily made from metal rod.

Thanks for the pic, now I can see what I need. Is the back of the door supposed to have s notch in it, where it catches? Mine does. Do not know if it should be there or not.

Yes, or at least mine does.
