Model A Generator-What is it???
This generator is currently running on my 30 coupe with excellent performance. What model/year is it? Notice no band on end for brush adjustment.
Thanks for the feedback

try Vince's page on generators
http://www.fordgarage.com/pages/generatorchart.htm or this page on Ford tractors http://www.oldfordtractors.com/idhistory.htm Last edited by pat in Santa Cruz; 02-27-2011 at 12:50 PM. |

My guess would be that the cutout is a dummy for looks. Is there a voltage regulator elsewhere on the car? The generator kinda looks later Ford but I can't identify it.

It's a 9N or 2N Ford tractor 1939-1947, they still used a cut out.
