All this remindes me of a 34 caborlet in Il I visited several years ago. Fellow that had it could not get it started. He had the wrong flex line going into the pump that was sucking air. I took the flex line out of the circuit and connected the pump directly to the tank line and manually pumped it to get a gas flow. Sure wish that guy would have sold that 34 and the 40 continental he had north of Highland Park.

Bruce good looking engine. Also notice the good looking flex hose. Looks like it came from Bob Shewman [email protected] Looks like the flex hose with the built in check valve. Has a little longer hex at the pump. G.M.

I wounder if judges in Nat.ford shows will deduct point or points off as it is not a factory hose, that would be interesting.I guess it would depend on how sharp the judge is !!!!!!. ken ct.

Wonder if the V8 Club judges ever take off points for your painted carburetors, distributors and fuel pumps ? I am successfully using a Bob Shewman flex hose, ones I got from you several years ago had pin holes in them as I have removed your painted carburetor and fuel pumps that required a ride home on a rollback. Don't start throwing stones at Shewman or GM or Skip all their stuff is still on my engine, yours is not.

Nice to see that, after a long absence, the 8:15 to Crankytown is up and running again.
