That Weber was bigger than those normally run on our A's, and it ran very well. It had an electric choke, which was nice. Being bigger than a 97, it probably put out more power but I never ran a single 97 on that engine so can't give you a comparison chart. I've since built a manifold for a side draft Weber, a 45DCOE, and after a jet change it ran even better. This was on my 4-port Riley.

If you e-mail me at jimb4e4@gmail I'll send you a dyno report that I did, it has some interesting figures where we ran 1, 2 and 3 carbs.
